Coffeyville Community College welcomes Zachary Mitchell, a Coffeyville native, as Director of Digital Communications.

Mitchell attended CCC between 2010 and 2012 and then transferred to Pittsburg State to get his BS in Communications and Sports Broadcasting. He then completed his Masters in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting from Pittsburg State.

“I wanted to come back to Coffeyville after graduation,” said Mitchell. “This position was an awesome step that allowed me to be in a career field that I love while also being able to give back to school and students.”

Mitchell comes from a long line of CCC graduates and is excited to help students create a solid foundation to start their career.

“I love getting to be in a career path that encourages creativity,” said Mitchell. “Something new happens every day, that’s just how communications works and I love that.”

In his spare time Mitchell enjoys writing, basketball and hanging out with his family and friends.

“CCC has an amazing family environment,” said Mitchell. “The amount of support I have gotten as been great and I’m excited to be a part of the team.”
