CCC student Caitlin Shepard has been selected as the Phi Theta Kappa Student of the Month for September.  Shepard graduated from Caney Valley High School.  She is actively involved in Phi Theta Kappa as the Southern District Vice President of the Kansas Region.  She also serves the local Eta Gamma Chapter as the Vice President of Scholarship.

Shepard is attending CCC on a Choral Music Scholarship and sings in the CCC Soundsations.  She also volunteers for the CCC Marketing Department and has helped design several marketing pieces.  Shepherd is the daughter of Del and Reva Shepard.  She plans to graduate from CCC and then transfer to Pittsburg State University to pursue a double major in Graphic Design and Business.
