Phi Theta Kappa in conjunction with Coffeyville Community College's Relay for Life Team organized a car show on April 28. The event was held at Walter Johnson Park in Coffeyville. All proceeds from the event benefit the CCC Relay for Life Team and eventually the American Cancer Society. The weekend deluge held off long enough for the car show to finish without a hitch. The top three winners as voted by attendees received a trophy. Other categories to receive a handmade trophy included People's Choice, Ladies' Choice and Kids' Choice.

1st Place - Monroe Joplin - 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible.

2nd Place - Charlie Smith - 1957 Ford Retractable Hardtop.

3rd Place - Jerry Mosteller - 1957 Chevy.

People's Choice - Dave Serrault - 1941 Chevy Truck.

Ladies' Choice - Larry Serrault - 1932 Ford Coupe.

Kids' Choice - Jerry Mosteller - 1957 Chevy.
