Eta Gamma Members Participate in Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat

The Eta Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Coffeyville Community College will once again be participating in one of their traditional activities, Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat.  For more than ten years, the local chapter has been participating in this seasonal activity to benefit the food pantries of The Salvation Army and Genesis.

On Thursday evening, October 29, college students in Halloween costume will be trick or treating the Coffeyville area for non-perishable food items.  Each team of students will have a letter from the college validating their activity as chapter and college sponsored.

There will be a prize for the team of students collecting the most food items.  For those persons in the community not reached by the students, contributions can be made by calling 251-7700 ext. 2076 and Eta Gamma members will come to your home to collect the donation.

Previous to trick or treating, the members will enjoy a “Halloween Dinner,” costume contest and scavenger hunt.
