Henke to Entertain Week of March 31

Brian Henke’s unique guitar style has been called everything from Folk to New Age to Neo-Classical to Pastoral or as Brian likes to call it “a big stewpot of everything, stirred up, simmered and served to taste.”  He composes and performs his own music.  Hanke’s music was described as “organic, mesmerizing and best of all magic,” by RJ Lannon, New Age Reporter.

Henke has seven solo CD’s and he has recorded “A Crown of Stars” with Bluefeather, Dunlap and Henke, which made it to the top ten in June of 2007 on the International New Age Radio Charts.  His music appeals to anyone who likes their music lyrical, thought provoking and performed with virtuosity.  A winner of many acoustic and electric guitar awards, he has also been a finalist in the prestigious National Fingerstyle Contest in Winfield, Kansas, the National Guitarmageddon regional finals in Boston and in New Age Reporters Top 10 for 2006 and 2010.

Henke’s tour in Montgomery County will start on Monday, March 31st at the Coffeyville Meal Site, Sycamore Landing and Windsor Place Assisted Living before arriving at the Spencer/Rounds Theatre on the CCC Campus at 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1st. Henke will continue his tour of Coffeyville with Windsor Place, Windsor Place SCU and the Medicalodge of Coffeyville on Tuesday.  Wednesday he will entertain residents at Asbury Village and Manor House followed by the students at Caney Valley High School on Thursday and the Caney Nursing Home and Guest Home Estates in Caney on Friday.
