Humanities Project: Juggler Brian Wendling Performs at CCC on Sept. 27

Brian Wendling.

Brian Wendling loves to perform and will bring his show to the CCC stage on September 27.  When he learned how to juggle while going to the University of Minnesota in 1975, Brian found a way to express his quiet self in front of people.  And he has no intention of stopping now!

An International Jugglers Association Team Champion (with Scott Burton) and frequent Best Stage Performer at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival, Brian has brought his award-winning juggling, comedy antics and easy going audience rapport to audiences across the United States.  His shows can include climbing a freestanding ladder, balancing on a rolling globe, riding a six foot unicycle, juggling five clubs, popping pong balls out of his mouth, spinning a lariat, bouncing balls off of a drum, surprising a volunteer with a bullwhip, twirling a huge cube shape in the air, bouncing a ball on his head while juggling or even making a small child smile.

The public is invited to the 10:30am Tuesday humanities performances at CCC.  The performances are free and held in the Spencer/Rounds Theatre.  For more information, call 620-251-7700 ext. 2145 or 2038.
