Biciunas to perform at CCC week of Jan. 23

Leonardo Biciunas is a Chicago based musician who will bring his high energy, humorous, and interactive performance to entertain and amuse.  Perfect for a cold winter day, his beach party presentation revisits classic summer songs and tropical favorites performed on ukulele, guitar, and assorted percussion.  Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt and be prepared to sing along and become part of the band when he opens his bag of tricks filled with shakers and noisemakers.

Biciunas’ education program is called “Peace: the Message in the Music.”  Audiences will listen to and discuss songs that have inspired, unified and comforted people throughout recent world history.  The program is an extension of Leonardo’s Anti-Bullying themed school concerts which he performs nationwide with his Makin’ Waves Band.

A professional musician for over twenty years traveling throughout the U.S. and Eurpoe, Biciunas has performed at clubs, theaters, schools and community events. A majority of his presentations are now focused on family and children’s music where his songs are a celebration of possibilities for audiences of all abilities.  For more information about Leonardo Biciunas, visit his website at www.leonardomusic.com.
