Chelsie Keys, a sophomore forward from Muskogee, Oklahoma, has signed an NCAA letter-of-intent to play at East Carolina University.  East Carolina is a NCAA division one level school located in Greenville, North Carolina.  Keys is coming off a season with the Red Ravens where she averaged 15.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per game.

On her decision to attend East Carolina, Keys commented that “I really liked their program and the feeling I got from them was like family.”  Head Red Ravens women’s coach Emily Washburn commented that “Chelsie had lots of options but that an ex-red raven women’s basketball player (Ondrea Shaw) is currently at ECU and that led Chelsie to sign with them.”  Washburn also commented that “ECU is an up and coming program with a very good coach and it was a good fit for Chelsie.”
