Hammork and Cuyler lead Ravens to win over Neosho County

The Neosho County Panthers hung with the #2 ranked Coffeyville Red Ravens for a half. The Panthers led the Ravens 37-36 at the half, but Coffeyville out-scored Neosho County 51-33 in the second stanza to run away with an 87-70 win.

Charles Hammork scored 22 points on the strength of 8-of-11 shooting from the field, and Marquis Cuyler added 16 points as the Ravens improved to 8-0 in Jayhawk Conference play and to 19-1 overall on the season.

Chadrack Lufile was close to a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. Jelani Poston and Dawon Cummings scored nine points each, and Cameron Craig and Colby Carr added eight points each.

Brison White scored 23 points for Neosho County.

The Ravens will stay on the road this week with trips to Highland on Feb. 1 and to Independence on Feb. 4. The Ravens return home on Wednesday, Feb. 8. The Ravens will host Labette at 8 p.m. in Nellis Hall.
