CCC theatre alumni working professionally across the U.S.Coffeyville Community College Theatre alumni are working professionally across the United States. Drew Current (Class of 2003) is currently training in an advance class at The Second City School of Improvisation in Chicago. He recently came back at did a Second City workshop at CCC in April and hopes to audition for Saturday Night Live soon. Shane Wallace (Class of 2004) is busy trying to become a film maker and is currently studying film at Columbia College in Chicago. Wallace wrote two original scripts while at CCC along with two original short films. Julie Dumler (Class of 2005) from Independence is trying to break into the business auditioning for theatres and film in California. Dumler was a two time Irene Ryan nominee while at CCC. Richard Stephenson (Class of 2005) just finished a summer stock season at Brownback Theatre, a professional company in Nebraska. He is now trying to get hired with Richmond Children’s Theatre in Kentucky. Micah Emerson (Class of 1999) has been doing theatre in New York while working as a Nanny. Josh Misegades (Class of 1996) recently started working on the bound for Broadway smash We Will Rock You, a compilation of songs from Queen with his wife Christine, who is an equity actress. Chris Cameron (Class of 2003) will be appearing with Mark Frank in Greater Tuna October 21 in the CCC Cafeteria. The play is a fundraiser for theatre scholarships and tickets are $50 each. Cameron plans to go to Chicago and attend Second City in October and will hopefully get a chance to audition for Lorne Michaels, producer of Saturday Night Live. |
