Lady Ravens Hammer Labette 70-34

Miaja Coursey provided a spark off the bench for the Ravens on Wednesday night. Coursey scored 12 points, making 6-of-7 field goal attempts, as the Lady Ravens defeated Labette 70-34 in Nellis Hall.
The Coffeyville Lady Ravens badly needed a win on Wednesday night. The prescription was filled as the Ravens hammered the Labette Cardinals 70-34 in Nellis Hall. The win improves the Ravens' conference mark to 3-4.
The Ravens had one of their better shooting nights of the season, making 47% from the floor. Chelsie Keys scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Coffeyville. Miaja Coursey scored 12 points off the bench, draining 6-of-7 field goal attempts. Tonisha Wilson just missed double figures with nine points. Jessica Anderson hauled in a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Ravens held Labette to just 23% shooting from the floor and forced 24 Cardinal turnovers. Brooke Dickey scored 10 points to lead the Cardinals in that category.
The Ravens are back in action on Saturday night as they will travel to Independence to face the Pirates at 6 p.m. at the ICC Fieldhouse.
