Season ends with second place finish at Super Regional

Coffeyville ran into a tough host in Seward County at the Liberal Super Region Tournament. The Saints defeated Coffeyville on Sunday. Coffeyville bounced back to defeat Hutchinson 10-8 in an elimination game and sending Coffeyville into the Super Region championship game. However, Seward County defeated Coffeyville 11-1 and the Saints will advance to the Region VI Tournament. Coffeyville ends the season with a 27-31 overall record, including a fourth place finish in the Jayhawk East with a 19-17 conference mark.
