CCC to offer Paramedic program in Columbus, Kan.
Coffeyville Community College (CCC) will offer the MICT/Paramedic Program on the Columbus, Kan. campus starting February 2. The program runs Feb. 2, 2008 through Dec. 20, 2009 with classes held in the evenings from 5-10 p.m. During the two-year program students will also earn the following certifications: ACLS, Emergency Defensive Driving, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Advanced Life Support, 12-Lead EKG Interpretation, ACLS for the Experienced Provider, Participation in Cadaver Lab.
Students must possess a current EMT certification to enroll. Interested students may enroll at the Columbus campus on January 23 at 7 p.m. with CCC Emergency Medicine Director, Greta Rexwinkle.
