International students visit Lions Club

Coffeyville Community College (CCC) international students, Geoffrey Sygay of Kenya and Danilo Pfunaptche of Cameroon, Africa, spoke at the Daylight Defenders Lions Club Meeting this spring.  They shared about their countries and cultures and learned about the Lions Club in Coffeyville, Kan. 

“These are both really neat kids and they really enjoyed the meeting,” said International Student Sponsor, Marla Larimore. 

The CCC international students visit many groups and clubs in Coffeyville throughout the year.  They enjoy sharing and learning with the community.  Three of the students helped with the downtown Coffeyville clean up on Saturday, March 15.  If you would like any of these students to visit with your club or group contact Marla Larimore at 620-251-7700 ext. 2086. 

Sygay runs on the CCC track team and Pfunaptche is studying in the horticulture department.
