Young named Red Raven Employee of the Month
Coffeyville Community College (CCC) Collision
Repair Instructor, John Young, was named the Red Raven Employee of the
Month. Over 14 years ago, Young owned a body shop and towing service
when he decided to make a big change and move into education.
“I enjoy working with students and helping them
become employed,” said Young. “I’ve had students start their own body
shops and a few do custom air brushing.”
In addition to teaching at the CCC Coffeyville
Technical Campus, Young has also volunteered his time and talent to help
with the Red Raven Relay for Life team projects, he painted the popular
golf cart that was purchased at the CCC Foundation Auction last weekend
and he’s always available to help with events the college hosts
including Open House and 6th Grade Day.
“He goes above and beyond in his job and is a great
instructor,” said one faculty member.
Outside of work Young enjoys spending time with his family including his
wife, four daughters and one son as well as seven grandsons and one
granddaughter. He can also be found on the golf course. |
