Madl works with industry experts to stay informed on current trends, changes in technology and application of current technology in the field. He started at CCC on the Coffeyville Technical Campus in the fall of 2008 prior to moving to Columbus.
“Welds are like people, it’s what is on the inside that counts,” said Madl. “Welding is an excellent trade for anyone interested in becoming a skilled craftsperson who takes pride in their work.”
In addition to the high skill/high demand, 9-month day welding program, Madl is offering short-course evening welding classes. The next class will be offered September 29 through October 29 on Tuesday and Thursday from 5-9 p.m. This is a basic Welding Applications class teaching students to weld pipe to stringent industry recognized codes.
When he isn’t teaching and welding, Madl enjoys playing with his sons, Alexander (11 years old) and Logan (8 years old). He also rides and builds motorcycles, fishes and enjoy live music.
