CCC plant sale set for April 11-12

It is time to start thinking about that garden and flower bed and Coffeyville Community College (CCC) can help.  The CCC Horticulture department will hold its annual Spring Plant Sale on April 11-12.  The CCC greenhouse on 12^th street will be open for business from 3-7 p.m. on the 11^th and from 8 a.m.–2 p.m. on the 12^th.  The CCC Horticulture students will also participate in the Downtown Coffeyville Inc. Open House event on April 12^th with flowers and vegetables for sale in the downtown Mall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Growers will find tomato and pepper plants, annuals and perennials including geraniums, petunias and more.  Prices range from 50 cents to $15.  Students in the CCC Community Gardening Class will also be selling painted plant containers.  For more information call 620-251-7700 ext. 2087.
