ENROLLMENT PROCESS FOR MAIN CAMPUS
COURSES
Coffeyville Community College has an open door admission policy, however
all first-time, degree-seeking students must complete an Application for
Admission. Applicants who have graduated from an accredited High School
within the last five years and do not hold at least an Associate Degree
must submit an official high school transcript which includes a graduation
date to the Registrar's Office at the time of enrollment. A GED
certificate may be submitted in lieu of a transcript. Prior to enrolling,
students must have a copy of ACT, SAT, ASSET or COMPASS test scores on
file in Student Services.
MAIN CAMPUS ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES
A. Schedule a meeting with assigned advisor or make an appointment with
the Director of Academic Advising.
B. Select classes which will follow a degree plan, the Transfer
Articulation Agreement or career choices.
C. Complete an enrollment form and obtain an advisor's signature.
D. Submit the completed enrollment form to the Registrar's Office for
input into the database.
E. If receiving financial aid assistance, contact the Financial Aid Office
to verify all necessary paperwork has been submitted. Financial aid
assistance includes scholarships, Pell Grants, student loans and work
study.
F. Finalize enrollment before the first day of classes by paying tuition
and fees or by making payment arrangements through the FACTS Payment Plan
online at www.coffeyville.edu.
G. Class spaces are reserved by students finalizing enrollment. ENROLLMENT
MUST BE FINALIZED BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASSES OR A STUDENT WILL BE
DROPPED FROM ALL COURSES.
H. The Business Office will acknowledge payment and/or payment
arrangements have been made on the PINK copy of the enrollment form.
I. New students should take the PINK copy of the finalized enrollment form
to the Media Center in the Weinberg Hall for securing a student I.D.
J. The PINK copy of the finalized enrollment form will allow students to
purchase textbooks. Cash purchases may be made after finalization. Book
charges for scholarship recipients and students with completed financial
aid may begin January 9.
K. A student who has not finalized enrollment by 5:00 p.m. the day prior
to classes starting will be required to:
1. See advisor to plan class schedule and complete enrollment form.
2. Receive signed approval from each instructor listed on enrollment form.
3. Take enrollment form to the Registrar's Office for data input.
4. Take enrollment form to Financial Aid Office if receiving any financial
aid. Financial aid would include scholarships, Pell Grants, student loans.
5. Take enrollment form to the Business Office to FINALIZE enrollment
which includes paying for tuition, fees, housing and updating ID card.
6. New students take PINK copy of the enrollment form to the Media Center
in the Weinberg Hall for securing student ID.
7. Take PINK copy of FINALIZED enrollment form to Bookstore to purchase
textbooks.
ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES FOR ONLINE COURSES
A. Contact the Director of Advising by email, phone or in person to
request an enrollment form and to confer with an advisor. (620.252.7002 or

B. Upon receipt of the enrollment form, complete and return all copies
along with payment of tuition and fees to the Registrar's Office. Payment
may also be made by credit card.
C. The PINK copy of the enrollment form will be returned to the student
along with payment receipt of tuition and fees.
D. Contact the Bookstore to arrange for purchase of textbooks
(620.252.7555).
Once an enrollment is FINALIZED, a student must complete a SCHEDULE CHANGE
FORM in the Registrar's Office in order to be released from obligation for
tuition and fees, up to and including
January 23, 2006 for spring classes.
NOTE
Registration for six (6) credit hours or less may be taken by telephone
through the last business day of the week prior to the start of classes.
Enrollment information must be completed in the Advising Office. A student
must finalize telephone registration by the last business day of the week
prior to the first class meeting or be dropped from courses. |
