CCC Theatre To Present Student Directed One Plays December 1-3

Kerri Hurley, Rieanna Grames and Austin Baughman perform a scene from the absurd comedy "Naomi and the Living Room" by Christopher Durang. This one act directed by Cheyenne Miller is one of three student directed one act plays that will be presented Thursday through Saturday at Coffeyville Community College's Spencer/Rounds Theatre. Show time each night is 7:30 p.m. with a total show length of about an hour. Admission is free.

Coffeyville Community College Theatre will present the 18th Annual Student Directed One Act Festival. This year, three student directors had their plays approved to be part of the festival. The One Act Festival is part of CCC Theatre's Directing Project class where students learn about stage directions for the first eight weeks of the course and then direct a short ten minute one-act. This year, six directors enrolled in the course and three out of the six plays entered made it to this year's festival.

The One-Act Festival will be December 1-3 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Admission is free.

Cheyenne Miller will present the absurd comedy "Naomi and the Living Room" by Christopher Durang. This one act contains adult language. Performers in the one act include Rieanna Grames, Kerri Hurley and Austin Baughman.

Ian Ewing will present "Lynette at 3 A.M." by Jane Anderson with performers Samantha Lambert, Dylan Hart, and Quenton Todd.

The third play being presented by Rebecca Jenicke is "Kiss the Twins for Me" by G.L. Horton. Performers are Ashley Lundblade, Dylan Hart, and Jacob Pibble.
