Coffeyville Community College Music and Theatre programs are proud to announce their cast for "Evil Dead, the Musical" by George Reinblatt, Frank Cipolla, Christopher Bond and Melissa Morris. The musical will be presented in the Spencer/RoundsTheatre October 25-27 at 7:30 p.m. The musical is free but please note it is rated "R" and no children will be allowed as it contains extreme adult language and adult themes.

The musical is about five college students spending the weekend in an abandoned cabin in the woods and accidentally unleashing an evil terror. In their comedic take on the 1980's horror franchise, characters and demons sing and dance to songs written specifically for the musical. And, as in the films, Ash is there to dish out his various one liners and fight the never-ending demons.

The cast includes, Cooper Smart as Ash, Nathan Adkins as Scotty, Mercedes Price as Shelly, Kristen Chestnut as Cheryl, Sam Roberts as Linda, Tim Burns as Jake, Rieanna Grames as Annie, and Miguel Rodriguez as Ed. Playing Evil Trees are Asley Lundblade, Holly Barks, Kelli Deal, Quenton Todd, Kiefer Lawson, and Cameron Smith. The stage managers are Sam Lambert and Aubrey Cashion and the musical is being directed by Mark Frank and John Gray.
