Hurricane Iphigenia - Category 7 (Tragedy in Darfur) Photo Album

The play is about Iphigenia, the Greek princess who is reborn again in Sudan Africa and witnesses the genocide that is presently occurring in the Darfur region.

The cast includes Sam Cosby as Iphigenia, Tyrrell Blue as Tesfeye, and Jacie Holtzclaw as Artemis.  Ensemble cast members who will play several parts include Tara O’Brien, Zade Lopez, Cortez Carter, Shayla Williams, Luci Spencer, Chelsea Daniels, Dakota Miller, Dustin Morby, Ashley Rowe, Miwa Ishii, and Chad Kimmons.

Mark Frank is the Director of the production. Laura Feerer is the Technical Director, Cody Dunlap is the Stage Manager and Patrick O’ Neil is the Assistant Stage Manager.

The production will be performed September 28-30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Spencer/Rounds Performing Arts Theatre on the main campus of Coffeyville Community College.  Admission is free but canned goods for the homeless in Africa are welcomed.

The play is a participating entry for the American College Theatre Festival Region V.
