Oleanna Photo Album

Oleanna was presented on the CCC Campus on October 21-23, 2004.  The controversial play by David Mamet is a portrayal of sexual harassment in the classroom between a student and teacher, who happens to be up for tenure.  Directed by Allen Twitchell, who also performs in the production, Oleanna displays a power struggle between two people, stemming from their inability to effectively communicate.  This lack of communication turns into an accusation of sexual harassment that has been filed with the school's tenure committee.

The cast and crew included:

  • John/Director - Allen Twitchell, fine arts assistant at CCC; Twitchell has performed and directed in Coffeyville, Garden City and Emporia.
  • Carol - Cindy Lou Paasch, a sophomore from Goddard High School; Paasch has appeared on the CCC stage in God's Favorite, the Rubber Chicken Factory improv comedy troupe, and in the student-directed one acts.
  • Understudy (for Carol)/Assistant Stage Manager - Ashley Good, a freshman from Labette County High School; Good has appeared in eight productions at LCHS, the most recent being The Curious Savage.
  • Stage Manager - Chandra Cannon, a freshman from Fredonia; Cannon has performed and directed in high school.
