Humanities Project: Songwriter Mary Bragg Performs at CCC on Oct. 10

Mary Bragg.

With a focus on southern female authors and songwriters, Mary Bragg's humanities project program welcomes open ears and open hearts ready to be inspired.

Bragg will be performing on the Coffeyville Community College campus on Tuesday, October 10.  The public is invited to the 10:30 a.m. Tuesday humanities performances at CCC.  The performances are free and held in the Spencer/Rounds Performing Arts Theatre.

Bragg, the 2017 MerleFest Chris Austin Songwriting Contest winner, spent 10 years living in New York City after a small town upbringing in south Georgia.

Now based in Nashville, she is touring in support of her new album, "Lucky Strike", which Mother Church Pew says “carries a distinctive authenticity, born through the intimate connection made with the listener through her vulnerable, soul-baring lyrics.”
