Due to concerns regarding COVID-19 and the health/safety of our community, employees and students, the decision has been made to cancel the upcoming spring musical performance of The Fantasticks. All future theatre performances will be on hold until further notice.

CCC Theatre Director Ryan Mahannah released the following statement regarding the cancellation:

“First off, let me say that I am deeply sorry for the disappointment that is felt by all by the cancellation of our spring musical, The Fantasticks. The musical is the one time of year that all three of our Fine Arts programs get to collaborate on something very special, not only for us but for the audience that shares in the theatrical experience with us. Our students and faculty are devastated, but they will continue to grow both as artists and as people through this difficult time in our world.

We are looking forward to our 2020-2021 season at Red Raven Repertory Theatre. I want to thank every single person that has come to support not only our theatre program, but all of our Fine Arts Programs this year. We have had an amazing season up this point and that is what our students will hang their hats on. They were brave, they explored, they challenged themselves. Yesterday, when we broke the news to our students- we challenged them to “never stop creating.” The world needs artists and their work in times like this and I can’t wait to see how all of these programs and students continue their growth in the future because I know that is exactly what they are going to do.”
