Juggler Brian Wendling to Visit Montgomery County Week of September 8th as Part of CCC Humanities Project

Brian Wendling comes to Coffeyville the week of September 8th as part of the Coffeyville Community College Humanities Project. Wendling will present his comedy juggling program  that brings insight into juggling from many cultures and eras.

Wendling is an International Jugglers Association team champion, with a wealth of performing experience in almost every setting. He combines award-winning juggling, audience antics and family-friendly humor into a high-energy mix that is fit for all ages. If you were at the Disney World New Vaudeville Stage, the Magic of Christmas extravaganza with the Kansas City Symphony, one of the hundreds of schools during his National School Assemblies tours, at Silver Dollar City theme park, at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival (Best Entertainment three times!), at the Galveston (Texas) Dickens On The Strand Festival or in his audience during his 25 years of coming to Coffeyville as part of the humanities series, you came away impressed with his skills onstage.

As one newspaper article noted: "Give the skinny fellow three or more objects and he'll juggle them.  Add three or more spectators and he'll make you wonder whether he's juggling the objects or the people. Actually, he's doing both!"

Wendling's tour in Montgomery County will start on Monday, Sept. 8th at Sycamore Landing and Windsor Place Assisted Living before arriving at the Spencer/Rounds Theatre on the CCC Campus at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9th. Wendling will continue his tour of Coffeyville with Windsor Place, Windsor Place SCU and the Medicalodge of Coffeyville on Tuesday afternoon.  Wednesday, Sept. 10, he will entertain residents at Pickwick Place and Asbury Village followed by the students at Caney Valley High School on Thursday, Sept. 11th, and the Caney Nursing Center and Guest Home Estates in Caney on Friday, Sept. 12th.

The public is invited to the 10:30 a.m. Tuesday humanities  performances at CCC.  The performances are free and held in the Spencer/Rounds Theatre.  For more information call 620-251-7700 ext. 2145 or 2038.
