Medical Laboratory Technology Instructor

Technical instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Vice President for Innovation for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) Instructor is responsible for supervision and instruction of the MLT program curriculum as assigned.

A minimum of three years field experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician and experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and/or continuing education workshops.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the field is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U. S. Department of Education.  A Master’s Degree or higher is preferred.  Current Medical Laboratory Technician professional certifications are required.

Welding Instructor (Labette County High School Campus)

The CCC Welding Instructor located at the Labette County High School (LCHS) Campus is responsible to the Vice President for Innovation for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Welding Instructor is responsible for the safety, security, and instructional operation of the Labette County High School Campus Welding Center.

A minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in a community college or technical school, or a minimum of five years of pipe welding experience in industry, and experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and workshops.

A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 18 credit hours in the teaching field is preferred from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  Industry-recognized certifications in the various Welding processes are required.

Director of Theatre

The Theatre Director reports to the Vice President for Academic Services.  The Theatre Director is responsible for all theatre productions, the College humanities series, summer children’s theatre, and recruitment of theatre students as well as the upkeep of the College theatre and shop areas. 

Requirements include a minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in a community college; experience in theatre productions; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs and workshops and/or teaching experience.

A master’s degree in the field or hold a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours within the discipline is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Head Softball Coach

The Head Softball Coach/Student Advisor is responsible to the Athletic Director for the entire management and administration of all phases of a varsity intercollegiate sports program and team within the guidelines, rules and regulations of Coffeyville Community College, the Kansas Jayhawk Conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association.  Additionally this individual will provide expertise and guidance in all three domains of learning; cognitive, affective and psyo-motor activities including nutrition, health and wellness information as an example geared toward strength training, physical fitness, flexibility, agility, balance and power.

Requirements include at least three year’s coaching/participation experience, preferably at the post-secondary level; teaching experience preferred. A master’s degree is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Sports Information Director/Assistant Coach

The Sports Information Director is responsible to the Senior Director of College Relations, Marketing & Recruiting and will promote and advance Coffeyville Community College Athletics. This position will coordinate all sports information and media relations functions for all Red Raven athletic teams. Core responsibilities include updating college athletic web page, athletic social media twitter account and the game day press box operations. This position is also responsible to the Director of Athletics for assisting in the management of a varsity intercollegiate sports program in either soccer, softball or baseball. Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal, are required, as well as a high attention to detail. This position will require non-traditional work hours, including weekends and nights, and occasional travel. 

Prefer relevant experience working in sports information, media relations and/or communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet, social media sites, fax and calculator.  Prefer experience and/or willingness to learn Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, sports information statistical software, and media software. Prefer experience and/or willingness to learn a content management system. Experience with athletics and sports knowledge. Experience in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data. Experience in coaching activities.

A bachelor's degree is required.

CDL Drivers

Coffeyville Community College is currently accepting applications for CDL drivers who are interested in driving student busses on an as needed basis.  The position requires a CDL with the passenger and air brake endorsement.  If you are interested in picking up some driving hours on weekends or during the week, we would like to add you to our driver pool.  To apply, submit a completed application, background check authorization form, copy of CDL driver’s physical card and DMV driving record to Human Resource Dept, Coffeyville Community College, 400 West 11th, Coffeyville, KS  67337.  CCC is an EOE.

Coffeyville Community College strives to provide a safe and secure environment for its campus community members. Each year, CCC publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which discusses topics such as crime prevention, to whom crime reports should be filed, resources for victims of crimes, emergency procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety at CCC. The report also contains statistics for specific crimes reported to have occurred on certain property owned or controlled by the College over the past three calendar years.
