*Full-time is based on 24 credit hours, part-time is based on 12 credit hours.

Oklahoma counties include: Nowata, Washington, Ottawa, Craig, Osage and Rogers.
Missouri counties include: McDonald, Newton, Jasper, Barton and Vernon.

High School Students

Tuition - paid by Kansas Board of Regents SB155.
Books & Fees - students need to check with their local counselor regarding payment responsibility.

Below is a list of tools required for the program. The location of purchase and quality of items will affect the price estimated above:

  • Ear Protection
  • Safety glasses
  • Welding helmet
  • Welding cap
  • 2 pair welding gloves-heavy and thin
  • Boots (Leather/Steel Toe)
  • One shade lens either #10, #11, or #12
  • Tape Measure
  • Flashlight
  • 4 ½ inch angle grinder
  • 9” Combination side cutting pliers
  • Welding goggles-#5 lens
  • Lock with extra key (for locker)
  • Wire brush
  • Chipping hammer
  • Protective clothing must be fire retardant-cotton sleeves or can be leather cape, sleeves, and bib
  • Small inspection mirror
  • Notebook paper, pen, pencil

Graduation Fee

Students completing the program will have a fee of $45.00.

 

All of the above costs are subject to change. Please verify costs at the time of enrollment.

All students must sign an insurance waiver before they will be allowed on the shop floor.

Safety equipment must be worn at all times per program requirements.
