Spanish Instructor (Full-Time)

Instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Vice President for Academic Services for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.

A minimum of three years teaching experience, preferably in a community college; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs and  workshops and/or teaching experience with adults; experience teaching distance education preferred.

A Master’s Degree in the field (Spanish) or hold a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours within the discipline (Spanish) is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Communication and Graphics Specialist

The Communication and Graphics Specialist is a twelve month position and shall be responsible to the Director of Marketing for creative design and layout of college publications and/or written materials for all projects assigned.   This position will focus on all programs at the Coffeyville Community College. This individual is also responsible for the Social Media marketing/recruiting/retention campaign for the College which includes but is not limited to creating relevant content and strategy, develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, cultivate and responding to comments, community participation and leadership. 

Experience in graphic lay-out and/or professional publications; experience in meeting deadlines, working under pressure and working with a diverse group of individuals; experience with social media outlets. 

Bachelors’ Degree is required. Master’s preferred. Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Photography or related fields highly desirable.

Student Success Center Assistant

The Student Success Center assistant shall be responsible to the Student Success Center Director for assisting with the coordination and instruction of a variety of services to help first year students achieve academic success inside and outside of the classroom.  This includes but is not limited to first year programs, mentoring and promotion of leadership skills, academic advising, and individualized and group instruction in all academic disciplines offered by Coffeyville Community College.  This position will also coordinate the SSC tutoring program for all academic areas.

Experience teaching in post-secondary or related setting; experience working with students with diverse backgrounds/life experiences.

A Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred. Background in Mathematics preferred.

Student Accounts Representative

The Student Accounts Representative shall be responsible to the Associate Coordinator of Business Services, Accounting for the posting of records, preparing of financial worksheets, billing of student accounts, assessing tuition, fees, and or dormitory costs, receipting monies on student accounts, making weekly deposits, reconciling credit card account, mailing and processing of student billings as required, processing all In-House and Collection accounts, processing 3rd Party Billings, processing scholarship billings, and all other clerical duties assigned by the Associate Coordinator of Business Services.

Must reside within the CCC service area within six (6) months of the date of hire, and throughout employment with CCC.

At least two years experience in general office/clerical, accounting and customer service. A high school diploma is required; an Associate Degree/Technical certificate is preferred.

Esport Coach and Head Golf Coach

The Esport Coach / Head Golf Coach is a 12 month position that reports to the Vice President for Academic Services, Senior Director of College Relations, Marketing and Recruiting and Athletic Director.  This position is responsible for the development and growth of an effective Esport team.  The Esport Coach and Head Golf Coach will demonstrate an excellence in leadership and mentorship within a competitive setting. The Esports team is a co-curricular program that enhances critical thinking, teamwork and communication among a diverse group of students.  The Golf team will be a competitive group of both men and women that will represent CCC at practice and at tournaments. The Esport / Golf Coach will also be an active educator within the academic profession at the institution.  

A minimum of two years coaching experience, preferably in a community college; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs and workshops and/or teaching experience; experience working with students on an individual basis; experience and the ability to stimulate and attract students to participate in the Esport and Golf Programs.

Assistant Director of Student Life / Assistant Track and Field Coach (M/W)

The Assistant Director of Student Life / Assistant Track Coach is responsible to the Director of Student Life for overseeing the students and operations of Walker/Powell Halls and assisting the Head Track and Field coach with organizing and providing direction to the program.  This is a full-time, 12 month, live-in position that includes being available twenty-four hours a day when individuals are housed in the facility. The exception will be for track practice and track meets in which the Director will be available to handle these times and dates.

At least two years of experience in a supervisor or teacher role; minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education.  A Master’s Degree is preferred.

Assistant Men's and Women's Soccer Coach

The Assistant Men's and Women's Soccer Coach is responsible to the Head Men's and Women's Soccer Coach for the entire management and administration of all phases of a varsity intercollegiate sports program and teams for both men and women within the guidelines, rules and regulations of Coffeyville Community College, the Kansas Jayhawk Conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association.

At least three year’s coaching/participation experience, preferably at the post-secondary level; teaching experience preferred. Master’s Degree preferred from a regionally accredited institution of  higher learning recognized    by the US Department of Education.

Director of Grounds, Horticulture and Agronomy

The Director of Grounds, Horticulture and Agronomy is a twelve month position responsible for providing leadership, planning and management by using his/her horticultural expertise to provide landscape, and grounds maintenance to maintain a safe and attractive campus environment.  The Director will also be responsible for sharing knowledge and expertise in coordination of the Horticulture and Agronomy curriculum.   Additionally the Director will be responsible for recruiting students who have a desire to pursue theoretical and practical understanding of Horticulture and Agronomy by combining lecture courses with lab experiences. 

Experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance and in grounds equipment maintenance and repair and supervisory experience.  Experience in budget planning preferred. 

A Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.  Degree in horticulture, landscape maintenance, a related field or Master Gardner Certificate or 5 years on-the-job experience is preferred. Certification in use of herbicide and ground chemicals also preferred.

Custodian

The Custodian shall be responsible to the Maintenance Technician/Evening Lead and the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping for the custodial maintenance of the physical plant of the college.

One year of related experience in custodial related activities. Experience with team cleaning is preferred. High school diploma or its equivalent, or comparable knowledge, skill, and mental development.

CDL Drivers

Coffeyville Community College strives to provide a safe and secure environment for its campus community members. Each year, CCC publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which discusses topics such as crime prevention, to whom crime reports should be filed, resources for victims of crimes, emergency procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety at CCC. The report also contains statistics for specific crimes reported to have occurred on certain property owned or controlled by the College over the past three calendar years.
