Defensive Assistant Football Coach/Student Advistor/Instructor

The Defensive Assistant Football Coach is responsible to the Head Football Coach and the Director of Athletics for assisting in the management of a varsity intercollegiate sports program and team. Specific responsibilities include assisting the Head Football Coach on the defensive side of the football.

At least three years coaching/participation experience, preferably at the post-secondary level; teaching experience preferred.

Masters Degree is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Director of Academic Advising and Student Success Center

The Director of Academic Advising and Student Success Center shall be responsible to the Vice President for Academic Services for a comprehensive program which promotes and enhances academic and career development for all students.  This program includes academic advisement, academic placement, student orientation/retention, transfer articulation, accommodations and enrollment services.   Additional the Director is responsible for the overall operations of the Student Success Center and for the coordination of a variety of services to help students achieve academic success outside the classroom.   This includes but is not limited to individualize and group instruction in the development of basic skills in English, reading, and math programs plus tutoring in all of the academic disciplines offered by CCC.

At least two years’ experience in a community college or university related directly to teaching or academic counseling experience; experience working with students with diverse backgrounds/life experiences; experience with student retention and assessment programs and workshops.

Master Degree is preferred from an accredited institution of higher learning as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Spanish Instructor (Full-Time)

Instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Vice President for Academic Services for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.

A minimum of three years teaching experience, preferably in a community college; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs and  workshops and/or teaching experience with adults; experience teaching distance education preferred.

A Master’s Degree in the field (Spanish) or hold a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours within the discipline (Spanish) is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Student Success Center Assistant

The Student Success Center assistant shall be responsible to the Student Success Center Director for assisting with the coordination and instruction of a variety of services to help first year students achieve academic success inside and outside of the classroom.  This includes but is not limited to first year programs, mentoring and promotion of leadership skills, academic advising, and individualized and group instruction in all academic disciplines offered by Coffeyville Community College.  This position will also coordinate the SSC tutoring program for all academic areas.

Experience teaching in post-secondary or related setting; experience working with students with diverse backgrounds/life experiences.

A Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred. Background in Mathematics preferred.

Custodian

The Custodian shall be responsible to the Maintenance Technician/Evening Lead and the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping for the custodial maintenance of the physical plant of the college.

One year of related experience in custodial related activities. Experience with team cleaning is preferred. High school diploma or its equivalent, or comparable knowledge, skill, and mental development.

CDL Drivers

Coffeyville Community College is currently accepting applications for CDL drivers who are interested in driving student busses on an as needed basis.  The position requires a CDL with the passenger and air brake endorsement.  If you are interested in picking up some driving hours on weekends or during the week, we would like to add you to our driver pool.  To apply, submit a completed application, background check authorization form, copy of CDL driver’s physical card and DMV driving record to Human Resource Dept, Coffeyville Community College, 400 West 11th, Coffeyville, KS  67337.  CCC is an EOE.

Coffeyville Community College strives to provide a safe and secure environment for its campus community members. Each year, CCC publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which discusses topics such as crime prevention, to whom crime reports should be filed, resources for victims of crimes, emergency procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety at CCC. The report also contains statistics for specific crimes reported to have occurred on certain property owned or controlled by the College over the past three calendar years.
