Automotive Service Aide

Technical instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Vice President for Innovation & Business Initiatives for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Automotive Service Aide is responsible to assist in the safety, security, operation, and instruction of the college Automotive Service area and equipment.

A minimum of two years of automotive work experience; a minimum of two years working with the public.

An Associate degree in the field is preferred from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  An industry-recognized certification and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Director of Distance Education

The Director of Distance Education reports to the Vice President of Academic Services and provides the coordination and supervision of the long-term and day-to-day distance education initiatives for the institution.  Responsibilities include coordinating the on-line student experience in virtually all of its dimensions, recruiting quality faculty to teach distance education, providing academic support to faculty, and providing the direction for technology support personnel for distance education.  The Director is responsible to ensure the quality and rigor of the on-line student is equitable to the face-to-face experience.  As well as, maintaining and ensuring all federal regulations and guidelines are current and in compliance annually. 

Minimum of two years’ experience working in a community college is preferred; Minimum of two years teaching experience; Experience working in an administrative capacity, preferably in a postsecondary institution; Experience with student outcomes assessment and the systematic review of programs, preferably in a postsecondary institution; Experience with distance learning instruction and/or programs; Experience in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data; Experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs.

A Master’s Degree is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U. S. Department of Education.

Director of Maintenance

The Director of Maintenance shall be responsible to the VP for Operations & Finance for all matters of maintenance and safety of buildings, inventory, and distribution of supplies and equipment of the college and supervision of all personnel in the department.

Four years or more of related experience including at least one year experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity.  Experience should include construction, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, building management or other related areas.  Experience with large solid-state and pneumatic building control systems.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred or comparable work experience.

Student Success Center Assistant/International Student Coordinator

Student Success Center Assistant/ International Student Coordinator shall be responsible to the Student Success Center Director for assisting with the coordination and instruction of a variety of services to help students achieve academic success inside and outside of the classroom.  This includes but is not limited to first year programs, mentoring and promotion of leadership skills, academic advising, and individualized and group instruction in all academic disciplines offered by Coffeyville Community College.  This individual will also serve as the College’s Designated School Official in SEVIS and coordinate International Student Services.

Experience teaching in post-secondary or related setting; experience teaching remedial courses with traditional and non-traditional students in a classroom as well as individualized programs; experience working with students with diverse backgrounds/life experiences.

A Master’s Degree is preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Lead Custodian

The Lead Custodian shall be responsible to the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping for the custodial maintenance of the physical plant of the college and the supervision and evaluation of the night custodial staff.

Assistant Soccer Coach (M and W)/Student Advisor

The Asst. M & W Soccer Coach is responsible to the Head M & W Soccer Coach for the entire management and administration of all phases of a varsity intercollegiate sports program and teams for both men and women within the guidelines, rules and regulations of Coffeyville Community College, the Kansas Jayhawk Conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association.

At least three year’s coaching/participation experience, preferably at the post-secondary level, teaching experience preferred. Master’s Degree preferred from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education.

Assistant Director of Student Life

The Assistant Director of Student Life is responsible to the Director of Student Life for overseeing the students and operations of Walker/Powell Halls.   This is a full-time, 12 month, live-in position which includes being available twenty-four hours a day when individuals are housed in the facility.

At least two years of experience in a supervisor role. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education.  A Master’s Degree is preferred.

Maintenance Technician

Spanish Instructor (Full-Time)

A minimum of three years teaching experience, preferably in a community college; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs and  workshops and/or teaching experience with adults; experience teaching distance education preferred.

A Master’s Degree in the field (Spanish) or hold a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours within the discipline (Spanish) is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

CDL Drivers

Coffeyville Community College strives to provide a safe and secure environment for its campus community members. Each year, CCC publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which discusses topics such as crime prevention, to whom crime reports should be filed, resources for victims of crimes, emergency procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety at CCC. The report also contains statistics for specific crimes reported to have occurred on certain property owned or controlled by the College over the past three calendar years.
