Student Accounts Representative

The Student Accounts Representative shall be responsible to the Associate Coordinator of Business Services, Accounting for the posting of records, preparing of financial worksheets, billing of student accounts, assessing tuition, fees, and or dormitory costs, receipting monies on student accounts, making weekly deposits, reconciling credit card account, mailing and processing of student billings as required, processing all In-House and Collection accounts, processing 3rd Party Billings, processing scholarship billings, and all other clerical duties assigned by the Associate Coordinator of Business Services.

Must reside within the CCC service area within six (6) months of the date of hire, and throughout employment with CCC.

At least two years experience in general office/clerical, accounting and customer service. A high school diploma is required; an Associate Degree/Technical certificate is preferred.

Director of Grounds, Horticulture and Agronomy

The Director of Grounds, Horticulture and Agronomy is a twelve month position responsible for providing leadership, planning and management by using his/her horticultural expertise to provide landscape, and grounds maintenance to maintain a safe and attractive campus environment.  The Director will also be responsible for sharing knowledge and expertise in coordination of the Horticulture and Agronomy curriculum.   Additionally the Director will be responsible for recruiting students who have a desire to pursue theoretical and practical understanding of Horticulture and Agronomy by combining lecture courses with lab experiences. 

Experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance and in grounds equipment maintenance and repair and supervisory experience.  Experience in budget planning preferred. 

A Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.  Degree in horticulture, landscape maintenance, a related field or Master Gardner Certificate or 5 years on-the-job experience is preferred. Certification in use of herbicide and ground chemicals also preferred.

Support Specialist

The Support Specialist is a 40 hour a week position and shall be responsible to the Dean of Institutional Research & Enrollment Management to provide support to various departments campus wide.   Duties will include but not be limited to written/oral communication, quality customer service, switchboard functions, data entry, postal needs of the institution, general clerical and support activities of individual departments or programs.

At least two years experience performing the duties of a secretary, including organizing an office and meeting the public; at least one year experience operating a computer; at least one year experience working with the public/customers.

High school diploma or its equivalent is required.  An Associate degree/ Technical certificate in business and/or secretarial skills is preferred.

Learning Lab Coordinator - Columbus Technical Campus

The Learning Lab Supervisor shall be responsible to the Technical Campus Coordinator for the developmental education instructional and personnel matters in support of the technical programs.  This position will assist with evaluating student performance and testing, supervise peer tutoring, teach math, communication and employability skills; and, research and develop materials for use in instruction and in developmental coursework.

Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a community college, in the subjects of reading, writing and/or mathematics; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and workshops; experience working with developmental learners in classroom and individualized programs.

A Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 18 credit hours in the teaching field is preferred from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Assistant Director of Student Life

The Assistant Director of Student Life is responsible to the Director of Student Life for overseeing the students and operations of Walker/Powell Halls.   This is a full-time, 12 month, live-in position which includes being available twenty-four hours a day when individuals are housed in the facility.

Willingness to enforce institutional policies; ability to establish effective rapport with a diverse student body with varying personalities; ability to coordinate with campus personnel to resolve problems/conflicts; strong administrative skills; ability to keep information confidential.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education.  A Master’s Degree is preferred.

Custodian

The Custodian shall be responsible to the Maintenance Technician/Evening Lead and the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping for the custodial maintenance of the physical plant of the college.

One year of related experience in custodial related activities. Experience with team cleaning is preferred. High school diploma or its equivalent, or comparable knowledge, skill, and mental development.

Math Instructor

Instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Vice President for Academic Services for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.

A minimum of three years teaching experience, preferably in a community college; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs and workshops and/or teaching experience with adults; experience teaching distance education preferred, and public speaking and presentation experience.

A Master’s Degree in the field required or hold a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours within the discipline (Math).

CDL Drivers

Coffeyville Community College strives to provide a safe and secure environment for its campus community members. Each year, CCC publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which discusses topics such as crime prevention, to whom crime reports should be filed, resources for victims of crimes, emergency procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety at CCC. The report also contains statistics for specific crimes reported to have occurred on certain property owned or controlled by the College over the past three calendar years.
