Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Career & Technical Education

The Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Career & Technical Education reports directly to the Vice President for Career & Technical Education.  The position is responsible for the management of the Technical Campus office and provides administrative assistant support to the faculty and staff.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones, handling student records, processing enrollments, coordinating enrollments with area high schools, compiling reports for the administration, area high schools and the State, coordinating class schedules, assisting faculty and the administration, and performing general administrative assistant tasks related to running an efficient office.

A minimum of two years of experience in office management, administrative support, or secretarial work is required, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Experience interacting with and communicating effectively with the public is also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with general computer skills, is expected. An associate degree in Office Management or Secretarial Science from a regionally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education is preferred; however, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Sports Information Director

The Sports Information Director will promote and advance Coffeyville Community College Athletics. This position will coordinate all sports information and media relations functions for all Red Raven athletic teams. Core responsibilities include updating college athletic web page, social media channels and the game day press box operations. Media relations coordination, publication design, marketing assistance and support for the college’s Digital Network are also vital duties of this position. Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal, are required, as well as a high attention to detail. This position will require non-traditional work hours, including weekends and nights, and occasional travel.

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in sports information, media relations, and/or communications is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet applications, social media platforms, and general office tools is expected. Experience with, or a willingness to learn, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, sports information statistical software, media software, and content management systems is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of athletics and sports, along with experience in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree is preferred.

Part-time/ Seasonal Groundskeeper

Coffeyville Community College is seeking a dedicated Seasonal Groundskeeper to help maintain the beauty and functionality of our campus grounds. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in creating a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and visitors.

Prior landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is preferred. Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, is required. Familiarity with basic landscaping tools and equipment is expected. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

CDL Bus Drivers

Coffeyville Community College is currently accepting applications for CDL drivers who are interested in driving student buses on an as needed basis.  The position requires a CDL with the passenger and air brake endorsement.  If you are interested in picking up some driving hours on weekends or during the week, we would like to add you to our driver pool.

Agriculture Instructor 

The Agriculture Instructor is responsible for teaching assigned courses, updating curriculum, developing new courses, and ensuring alignment with accreditation standards. They will advise and recruit students, manage program budgets, coordinate scholarships, and support student organizations. Additionally, they will participate in college committees, community activities, and institutional events while maintaining flexibility for evening and weekend commitments as needed.

A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in a community college. Experience in the development and implementation of new courses and programs. 

A Master's Degree in Agriculture or earned a master's degree with 18 graduate hours within the discipline is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
