Head Men’s Soccer Coach / Student Advisor / Instructor

The Head Men’s Soccer Coach is responsible to the Athletic Director for the entire management and administration of all phases of a varsity intercollegiate sports program and team within the guidelines, rules and regulations of Coffeyville Community College (CCC), the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC), and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).  Additionally, this individual will provide expertise and guidance in all three domains of learning; cognitive, affective and motor activities; including nutrition, health and wellness information as an example geared toward strength training, physical fitness, flexibility, agility, balance and power.

At least three year’s coaching/participation experience, preferably at the post-secondary level. Teaching experience preferred. Experience working with students with diverse backgrounds/life experiences. Master’s Degree is preferred from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education.  Bachelor’s degree is required. Possess a National Level coaching license from the USSF or NSCAA.

Electrical Technology Instructor/Full-time

Technical instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Dean of Career & Technical Education for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Electrical Instructor is responsible for the safety, security, and operation of the Electrical Technology instructional area and equipment.

A minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in a community college or technical school, or a minimum of five years of hands-on electrical experience. Experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and workshops. A Bachelor’s Degree in the teaching field is preferred from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required.  A Kansas Electrical Journeyman’s license is preferred.

Automotive Service Technology Instructor/Full-time

Graphics & Communications Specialist

The Graphics and Communications Specialist is a twelve month position and shall be responsible to the Director of Marketing for creative design and layout of college graphics, publications and/or written materials for all projects assigned. This individual is responsible for the Social Media marketing/recruiting/retention campaign for the College which includes but is not limited to creating relevant content and strategy, develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, cultivate and responding to comments, blogging, community participation and leadership.

Experience in graphic lay-out and/or professional publications. Experience in meeting deadlines, working under pressure and working with a diverse group of individuals. Experience with social media outlets. Associates Degree is required. Bachelors’ or Master’s Degree is preferred. Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related fields highly desirable.

Learning Lab Instructor/Assessment Coordinator/Coffeyville Technical Campus

The Learning Lab Instructor/Assessment Coordinator at the Coffeyville Technical Campus is responsible to the Dean of Career & Technical Education for instructional and personnel matters in support of the career & technical education programs.  The Learning Lab Instructor will assist with evaluating student performance and testing; supervise peer tutoring; teach math, communication and employability skills; manage WorkKeys assessments; program certification testing; and, research and develop materials for use in instruction.  The Assessment Coordinator will work with Dean of Career & Technical Education and the Director of Institutional Effectiveness to assist the technical program faculty in gathering and analyzing program assessment data for the Coffeyville Technical Programs.

Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a community college, in the subjects of reading, writing, and/or mathematics. Experience working with varying levels of learners in the classroom and individualized programs. Two years of supervisory experience. Nursing Instructor/Full-Time

A minimum of two years teaching experience, preferably in a community college. A minimum of two years field experience as an RN with a healthcare facility. Experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and/or continuing education workshops.

For PN classroom nursing instruction: a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. A Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Asst. Athletic Trainer/Instructor 

The Assistant Athletic Trainer shall be responsible to the Head Athletic Trainer and will assist in all aspects of operating the Athletic Training program and facilities. This includes athletic training coverage for all CCC athletic teams, utilizing the six major athletic training practice domains, recruiting, supervising, and developing student workers.

Proven teaching and athletic training abilities. Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills. Be self-motivated Ability to effectively work with various publics and diverse populations. Human relation skills of ordinary courtesy, understanding, and ability to stimulate motivation, confidence, and enthusiasm in students. Within six months of the date of hire, and throughout their employment, required to maintain a physical place of residence within the CCC service area.

Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education. Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field, preferred. At least two years athletic training experience, preferred. NATABOC certified or eligible. Kansas State Licensure or eligible. Current CPR/First Aid Certification.

Allied Health Instructor - Columbus

The Allied Health Instructor at Coffeyville Community College is responsible to the Dean of Career and Technical Education and the Columbus Technical Campus Coordinator for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Allied Health Instructor is responsible for the instruction of the Certified Nurse Aide, Certified Medication Aide, Home Health Aide, and recertification courses as assigned and appropriately certified to teach. 

This position is specifically for classes taught through the Columbus Technical Campus, and classes are taught through Crawford County.

A minimum of two years licensed nursing clinical experience, and hold a Kansas RN or Oklahoma Multi-State RN license; at least 1,750 hours of clinical nursing experience must be as a Registered Nurse in a setting which demonstrates long-term nursing care, such as an adult care home, long term care unit of a hospital or a state institution for the mentally retarded or complete at least 7 hours online professional continuing education in “Person Centered Care for the Adult Care Home”; eExperience supervising nurse aides, experience teaching adults, complete a course in teaching adults or complete a professional continuing education offering on supervision or adult education; if teaching Home Health, must have a minimum of two years full-time licensed nursing experience (LPN or RN) including at least 1,750 hours as a licensed nurse in home health care services; experience in teaching adults or a professional continuing education offering on supervision or adult education, or shall have experience in teaching adults or supervising nurse aides.

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in the field is required from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U. S. Department of Education.  A Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred.

Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor

Instructional staff/faculty of the Nursing Program at Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Nursing Program Director for instructional and personnel matters, and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.  The Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor is responsible for the clinical instruction of PN and RN core curriculum as assigned, and to ensure student success on state licensure. 

A minimum of two years clinical experience as an RN in a variety of healthcare settings; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs, and/or continuing education workshops.

For PN clinical nursing instruction:  Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

For the RN clinical nursing instruction:  Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Nursing or actively pursuing a Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  

The Nursing Instructor must maintain a current RN license in Kansas or Multi-State Oklahoma license.

Custodian

The Custodian shall be responsible to the Maintenance Technician/Custodial Lead and the Director of Maintenance and Director of Housekeeping for the custodial maintenance of the physical plant of the college.

One year of related experience in custodial related activities.    Experience with team cleaning is preferred.  High school diploma or its equivalent, or comparable knowledge, skill, and mental development.

CDL Drivers

Coffeyville Community College strives to provide a safe and secure environment for its campus community members.
