Support Specialist

The Support Specialist is a 40 hour a week position and shall be responsible to the Dean of Institutional Research & Enrollment Management to provide support to various departments campus wide.   Duties will include but not be limited to written/oral communication, quality customer service, switchboard functions, data entry, postal needs of the institution, general clerical and support activities of individual departments or programs.

At least two years experience performing the duties of a secretary, including organizing an office and meeting the public; at least one year experience operating a computer; at least one year experience working with the public/customers.

High school diploma or its equivalent is required.  An associate degree or technical certificate in business and/or secretarial skills is preferred.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

The Assistant Athletic Trainer shall be responsible to the Head Athletic Trainer and will assist in all aspects of operating the Athletic Medicine program and facilities.  This includes athletic training coverage of the CCC athletic teams, utilizing the six major athletic training practice domains, recruiting, supervising and developing student workers.

At least four years athletic training experience, preferably at the post-secondary level; current NATA-BOC certification; current member of the NATA; Kansas State Licensure or eligible; current CPR/First Aid Certification; Master’s Degree preferred from an accredited institution of higher learning as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Sports Information Director/Assistant Baseball Coach

The Sports Information Director is primarily responsible to the Senior Director of College Relations, Marketing & Recruiting and will promote and advance Coffeyville Community College Athletics. This position will coordinate all sports information and media relations functions for all Red Raven athletic teams. Core responsibilities include updating college athletic web page, athletic social media accounts and the game day press box operations. This position is also responsible to the Director of Athletics for assisting in the management of the Coffeyville Community College baseball team.   Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal, are required, as well as a high attention to detail. This position will require non-traditional work hours, including weekends and nights, and occasional travel.

Prefer relevant experience working in sports information, media relations and/or communication; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet, social media sites, fax and calculator; prefer experience and/or willingness to learn Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, sports information statistical software, and media software; prefer experience and or willingness to learn a content management system; experience with athletics and sports knowledge; experience in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data; experience in coaching activities.

A Bachelors’ Degree is required.

Financial Aid Advisor

The Financial Aid Advisor will be responsible for advising students, parents and the public. Under general direction maintain the financial aid database and hard copy records of financial aid while assisting with the operation of the Financial Aid Office. Receive limited supervision within a broad framework of policies and procedures. Perform a wide variety of tasks associated with the selection and delivery of student financial assistance.

At least two years experience with computers; at least two years with similar office experience.

An Associate Degree is required but a Bachelors degree is preferred.

Math Instructor

Instructional staff/faculty of Coffeyville Community College are responsible to the Vice President for Academic Services for instructional and personnel matters and to fulfill the requirements as outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement.

A minimum of three years teaching experience, preferably in a community college; experience in the development and implementation of new courses, programs and workshops and/or teaching experience with adults; experience teaching distance education preferred, and public speaking and presentation experience.

A Master’s Degree in the field required or hold a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours within the discipline (Math).

Assistant Cheer and Dance Coach

The Assistant Cheer and Dance Coach reports to the Head Cheer and Dance Coach.  This individual will be responsible for recruiting student athletes from the state of Kansas as well as assisting in the management of this activity program.

Requires an ability to effectively work with various public and diverse populations. Human relation skills of ordinary courtesy, understanding and ability to stimulate motivation, confidence and enthusiasm in students; willingness to enforce institutional policies and procedures; ability to coordinate with campus personnel to resolve problem conflicts; a fundamental knowledge of cheerleading, gymnastic and dance techniques; valid Driver’s License; within six months of the date of hire, required to maintain a physical place of residence within the CCC service are throughout their employment.

At least three years coaching/participation experience. Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education.

Part-Time Phi Theta Kappa Adviser

The Phi Theta Kappa Advisor is a part-time position that will be responsible for all aspects of the Eta Gamma Chapter’s activities, including the recruitment of new members, accompanying students to meetings/conventions as they represent Coffeyville Community College, mentoring Chapter Officers and assisting them with the development of leadership skills, and fundraising for Chapter activities.

Lead Custodian

The Lead Custodian shall be responsible to the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping for the custodial maintenance of the physical plant of the college and the supervision and evaluation of the night custodial staff.

Three years of supervisory experience required and experience in the team cleaning environment preferred. High school diploma or its equivalent, or comparable knowledge, skill, and mental development.

CDL Drivers

Coffeyville Community College strives to provide a safe and secure environment for its campus community members. Each year, CCC publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which discusses topics such as crime prevention, to whom crime reports should be filed, resources for victims of crimes, emergency procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety at CCC.
