Wednesday, September 15 the Students Success Center (SSC) announced their celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the SSC has set up a display to celebrate all Red Ravens with Hispanic or Latin roots. 

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15- October 15. The celebration starts mid-month because September 15 marks the independence anniversary of five countries: Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. It is followed by Mexico's Independence Day on Sept. 16 and Chile's on Sept. 18.

The SSC has asked for students with Hispanic heritage to stop by the department and sign the bulletin board and stick a pin on the map, to show others where they are from!
