Presidential Scholars

Photo Illustration of Cap and Gown With DiplomaPresidential Scholarships are provided to a select group of students who, because of their academic achievement, leadership, and future promise, are recommended by their high school counselor.  Presidential scholars are selected through an application and interview process by the College President.  This select group of students will perform community service hours to assist the College with a variety of college activities.

The Presidential scholarship provides Kansas tuition, loan of books, and $500 per semester toward on‐campus housing expense.  In addition, CCC provides a Presidential Honors Scholarship to select students who have a minimum 28 ACT score and a 3.75 unweighted high school GPA.  Presidential Honors students will receive a full scholarship including Kansas tuition, loan of books, institutional fees, room and board in on‐campus housing.  Presidential and Presidential Honors scholarships are renewable each semester provided the student maintains a 3.6 semester grade point average (GPA) for the Presidential scholarship, or a 3.75 GPA for a Presidential Honors scholarship.

Students applying for the Presidential or Presidential Honors Scholarship need to submit a copy of their high school transcript and ACT scores along with the Presidential Scholarship Application Form by July 1st to be considered.
