Performance Opportunities
Anyone interested can make music at CCC! We offer a variety of ensembles and performance opportunities throughout the year. Music students learn the fundamentals of good tone production and proper playing technique while participating as an ensemble member. Students can also take lessons to gain more knowledge and mastery of their instrument. Hard working students may be selected to participate in the Kansas Inter-Collegiate Band held annually in Wichita during the Kansas Music Educators Association Conference. Whether choosing music as a career or participating in music to nourish a lifelong skill, CCC has a place for you!
Facilities
The Instrumental Music Department at Coffeyville Community College is a place to explore your musically creative side. The Music Department is located in Nellis Hall. The building has an acoustically designed, state-of-the-art band room. Also in this building is a soundproof practice room for fine tuning your music skills and to assist your music composition.
