Last Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 22 and 23, the Columbus Technical Campus Construction Program hosted the 5th-grade classes of USD 493 Central School in their 5th annual Birdhouse Workshop. 54 students participated in Building and painting their birdhouse, practicing their excavating skills on the program's state-of-the-art Excavator Simulator, and playing Put-Put with the backhoe. Students also toured the Welding facilities located next to the Construction Department.
