CCC ropers qualify for the College National Finals Rodeo

Gable Hilderbrand and Levi Wilson team rope to a win in the short round and a win in the average at the Fort Scott rodeo this spring. Both cowboys have qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo in June.

Coffeyville Community College (CCC) team ropers, Gable Hilderbrand of and Levi Wilson of are headed to the College National Finals Rodeo in June. The pair ended the regular season in the top standings in both rodeo as well as academics. “The requirement for Academic All-American honors is a cumulative 3.5 grade point average and I expect them both to qualify,” said CCC Rodeo Coach, Johnny Weil. CCC is the only college in Kansas, including four-year universities, who is sending more than one competitor to the College National Finals Rodeo. The Finals will be held in Casper, Wyo.
