Coffeyville Community College is delighted to announce the return of the Second Annual Dalton Defender Days Marching Festival, set to take place on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. This exciting event will be hosted at the Veterans Stadium from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., promising a day filled with music, camaraderie, and entertainment.
The Second Annual Dalton Defender Days Marching Festival promises to be a grand celebration of musical talent and performance artistry. Welcoming 12 outstanding bands and over 800 participants and spectators, this festival is a testament to the vibrant and dynamic arts community that Coffeyville Community College fosters.
A panel of distinguished adjudicators will be on hand to evaluate and provide feedback to each participating band. The esteemed adjudicators include:
- Dr. Frank Tracz, Director of Bands at Kansas State University
- Dr. Phillip Payne, representing Kansas State University
- Victoria Griffith from Wichita State University
