Coffeyville, KS – Coffeyville Community College (CCC) was proud to sponsor Cayden Lumley, son of CCC employee Amy Lumley, in the Kiwanis Corporate Challenge Buck-Out at the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo on Thursday, August 14, 2025. The event kicked off at 6 p.m. and brought together mechanical bull riders of all ages from across the area for an evening of competition and community fun.
CCC’s Rodeo Team served as event judges, lending their expertise to help determine winners in this exciting and family-friendly contest.
Cayden delivered an impressive performance, staying on the bull until the very last second. In fact, his ride was so close to the eight-second qualifying time that officials had to double-check with the judges to confirm the result. Though he fell just short, Cayden’s determination and skill earned applause from the crowd.
The Buck-Out drew a strong turnout, with many talented riders putting on a great show. CCC was honored to be among the many local businesses and individuals who sponsored the event, helping to make the competition a success and continue the long-standing traditions of the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo.
