Coffeyville, KS – Coffeyville Community College (CCC) is proud to celebrate the recent achievement of 2025 graduate and former Red Raven Rodeo Team member, Cutter Weil, who earned a major win at the All Star Team Roping Finals in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Competing in the largest roping event of the week—featuring more than 1,500 teams—Weil placed third and fourth in the average and secured the title of High Point Roper. This prestigious honor awarded him a brand-new 2025 Ford F-350 truck, presented by the Seth Wadley Auto Group.
The finals took place August 4–10, 2025, drawing top ropers from across the country. Weil’s performance not only showcased his skill and dedication but also continued the strong rodeo tradition at CCC.
“We are elated to see one of our graduates excelling at this level. To win a major event is special, but to come home with a beautiful Ford pickup is just the icing on the cake,” said Dr. Marlon Thornburg, CCC President.
Weil completed CCC’s Automotive Technology program and plans to continue his education in automotive service this fall at Pittsburg State University.
