Coffeyville, KS – Coffeyville Community College (CCC) is excited to invite community members to try something new this fall with Beginner Square Dancing, led by local instructor Vivian Frost. An informational session will be held on Thursday, September 4, at 6 p.m. in Nellis Hall, Room 100 (Choir Room). Classes begin the following week on Thursday, September 11, and will continue every Thursday evening from 6–8 p.m. for three months. The cost is just $15 per person for the entire session. Participants will learn the basics of square dancing in a fun, social environment—no prior experience required. The program will conclude with a celebration dance in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on December 4, with transportation provided. “I like to say that even someone with two left feet can square dance!” said instructor Vivian Frost. She also expressed that it is a great opportunity for anyone looking to try something new, get active, and meet new people.
