Coffeyville, KS – From September 29 to October 5, 2025, Kansas will observe the annual Week Without Driving, a statewide campaign that encourages Kansans to think about what daily life is like without access to a car.
To support the effort, KANcycle is offering free bike rides all week long with the promo code “kswwod25.” The code is valid for bicycles in Salina, Lindsborg, and Coffeyville, giving residents and visitors a chance to try out the regional bike-share program at no cost.
At Coffeyville Community College, a KANcycle station is conveniently located on the west side of the Arts & Sciences Building, providing easy access for students, staff, and the community.
The Week Without Driving highlights the barriers faced by those who cannot drive—whether due to disability,
age, or other circumstances—and emphasizes the need for safe, affordable, and reliable transportation choices for everyone.
KANcycle, operated by OCCK, Inc., makes bicycles available for short trips in North Central and Southeast Kansas. The program offers a simple and healthy way to get around town, run errands, or just enjoy a ride while supporting mobility and independence.
