Coffeyville, KS – Coffeyville Community College hosted its annual Distinguished Alumni Banquet and Hall of Fame Induction on Friday, October 17, in the Nellis West Gymnasium. The evening recognized Distinguished Alumni recipient Linda McFate, celebrated new inductees into the Red Raven Football Letterman’s Hall of Fame, and honored the many donors whose generosity supports CCC students and programs.
Linda McFate was presented with the Distinguished Alumni Award by Mary Ice, a former student of McFate’s and longtime philanthropic donor to the College. McFate was recognized for her decades of service to
Coffeyville Community College, her leadership of the Phi Theta Kappa “Eta Gamma Chapter,” and her lasting impact on the academic and personal success of CCC students.
“Linda is beyond deserving of this honor,” said Foundation Director Dickie Rolls. “Her kindness, dedication, and influence have shaped generations of students and colleagues. It was a joy to celebrate her among the community she has loved and served so well.”
The banquet also included the induction of Devin Thomas, James Carpenter, and the 1990 Red Raven Offensive Line into the Red Raven Football Letterman’s Hall of Fame, recognizing their outstanding athletic achievements and contributions to CCC’s storied football tradition.
In addition to honoring alumni and athletic excellence, the event served as a time to thank the CCC Foundation scholarship donors whose continued support provides students with life-changing educational opportunities.
Coffeyville Community College extends its appreciation to all who attended the banquet and to those who continue to support the CCC Foundation, Red Raven activities, and the College in the community.
