CCC Humanities Program Welcomes Singer-Songwriter Anna La Mare

CCC Humanities Program Welcomes Singer-Songwriter Anna La Mare

Coffeyville, KS — Coffeyville Community College’s Humanities Program will welcome singer-songwriter Anna La Mare for a live performance on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Spencer/Rounds Theatre.

Anna La Mare blends roots music and Celtic storytelling with Southern Gothic elements to create stormy, poetic Americana, animated by her powerful and haunting voice.

La Mare has held international residencies, performed in intimate venues, and appeared at festivals and songwriter showcases across the U.S. and abroad. Writing songs since childhood, she learned traditional American and Celtic tunes on family road trips and absorbed the balladry of Americana while exploring the music scene of the North Carolina Piedmont—laying the foundation for her unique style.

Combining jazz and folk roots with eclectic, soundscape-driven influences, La Mare crafts music that is intimate, expansive, and steeped in storytelling. Her versatile voice delivers tender soprano ballads, soulful anthems, quirky waltzes, and reimagined covers with heartfelt sincerity, creating a space where vulnerability and strength coexist.

A true artist of the road, Anna La Mare strums and sings the stories she’s gathered in her travels, poised to awaken the wanderer in every listener.

This performance is part of CCC’s Humanities Program, which brings artists, performers, and cultural experiences to campus to enrich learning and engagement for students and the community. All Humanities Program events are FREE and open to the public.

The performance will take place at Spencer/Rounds Theatre on the Coffeyville Community College campus.
