Coffeyville, KS — Coffeyville Community College proudly announces that its Track and Field program will be represented at the 2026 NJCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships in Hobbs, New Mexico, by five talented athletes from Kansas. This achievement underscores the continued strength and competitive excellence of the Red Ravens track program as it advances to the national stage.
The Kansas athletes competing include women Isabelle Cullens from Wellington, KS, who will compete in Pole Vault, Triple Jump, and Heptathlon, and Brooklynn White from Coffeyville, KS, who will participate in the 4x100 and 4x400 relays. Representing the men’s team are Dantevius Boykin from Coffeyville, KS, competing in Long Jump; Jake Horner from Coffeyville, KS, in the 400-meter hurdles; and Alexzander Morris from Coffeyville, KS, in Shot Put.
These athletes have demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill throughout the season, earning their spots to compete at this prestigious national event. Their participation highlights Coffeyville Community College’s commitment to fostering athletic excellence and supporting student-athletes in reaching their highest potential.
Coach Robert Wood, head coach of the Coffeyville Community College Track program, stated, “We are incredibly proud of Isabelle, Brooklynn, Dantevius, Jake, and Alexzander. We strive to keep our local track athletes at home. Having 4 of our 5 Kansas national qualifiers being from Coffeyville, we hope this serves as a testament to the focus and commitment within our program.”
Coffeyville Community College has a total of 38 athletes qualified for the national championships, with 14 women and 24 men. The women’s team is currently ranked 10th and the men’s team 7th in last week’s national rankings. The 2026 NJCAA Outdoor Championships will provide these athletes with an invaluable opportunity to compete against top talent, gain exposure, and continue their athletic and academic journeys.
