Coffeyville, KS — The Coffeyville Community College men’s soccer program has been named the NJCAA Academic Team of the Year after achieving an outstanding 3.85 team grade point average during the 2025-2026 academic year.
The national recognition highlights the commitment of the Ravens’ student-athletes to excellence both on the field and in the classroom. The NJCAA Academic Team of the Year award recognizes the top academic-performing team in each sport among NJCAA member institutions.
“This recognition is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the commitment our student-athletes make every day,” said Steve Harrison, Coffeyville Community College men’s soccer head coach. “Our players understand the importance of being successful both on the field and in the classroom. Their dedication, discipline, and work ethic have allowed them to achieve at a high level in both areas.”
Coffeyville Community College’s women’s soccer program also earned national academic recognition, finishing 10th in the NJCAA Academic Team rankings.
In addition to the team’s national academic honor, Coffeyville Community College student-athletes also earned significant conference-level academic recognition. A total of 126 Ravens were named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) All-Academic Award recipients for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The KJCCC All-Academic Award recognizes individual student-athletes who complete the academic year with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Coffeyville Community College had the second-highest number of KJCCC All-Academic honorees among the conference’s 20 member institutions, trailing only Barton Community College (131) and finishing ahead of Colby Community College (117).
The academic achievements of CCC student-athletes reflect the dedication of Raven athletes, coaches, and support staff in promoting success beyond competition.
The KJCCC reported a conference-wide cumulative GPA of 3.129 among its member institutions, with 17 of the 25 sponsored sports achieving team GPAs above 3.0.
