COFFEYVILLE, KS — Coffeyville Community College is inviting local businesses, churches, nonprofits, community organizations, and service groups to connect with CCC students during its upcoming Community Engagement & Connection Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Upper Level of Graham Library (CCC Main Campus).
The event is part of CCC’s Homecoming Week and Paint the Town Red activities and is designed to bring the College and the Coffeyville community together.
The fair will give local organizations an opportunity to introduce themselves to students and share what they have to offer, including services, student discounts, community events, employment, volunteer opportunities, and more. At the same time, students can learn about ways to become more involved, serve others, and make a difference in the community.
“We want our students to see Coffeyville as more than the community where they attend college. We want them to feel like they are part of it. This event is one more way to bring our campus and community together and give students opportunities to connect with the people and organizations that make Coffeyville home,” said Pam Feerer, Dean of Enrollment Management and Student Success.
Participation is free, and organizations do not need to be affiliated with CCC to participate. Businesses, churches, nonprofits, community organizations, and service groups are encouraged to reserve a table and take part.
Organizations interested in participating should email [email protected] to reserve a table no later than Sept. 21.
CCC encourages community members to join the College during Homecoming Week as we come together to connect, build relationships, and Paint the Town Red!
