COFFEYVILLE, KS — Coffeyville Community College celebrated the achievements and lasting impact of its Red Raven family during the 2026 Distinguished Alumni and Football Hall of Fame Dinner on Friday, Sept. 25, in Nellis Hall West.

The dinner took place during Homecoming Week, honoring Vivian Frost as CCC’s 2026 Distinguished Alumni recipient and welcoming Albert “Al” Bell, Wali Muhammad, and Sylvester "Sly" Williams as the 27th class of the Coffeyville Community College Football Hall of Fame.

Together, the honorees represent the dedication, perseverance, and hard work that define the Red Raven tradition, as well as the lasting connections that continue long after a student’s time at CCC.

Frost dedicated over 36 years of service to Coffeyville Community College, most recently serving as Database Administrator. Throughout her career, she became a familiar and welcoming presence on campus while connecting with generations of students. Her commitment to CCC has continued through her support as a scholarship donor, helping provide opportunities for future Red Ravens.

“I’m living proof that CCC changes people’s lives,” Frost shared. “There’s a feeling you won’t get anywhere else unless you come to this campus and be a Red Raven.”

The 2026 Football Hall of Fame class celebrated three former Red Ravens whose careers began at Coffeyville and continued well beyond CCC.

Bell, a wide receiver from 1983-84, was a member of CCC’s 1983 National Championship team and earned NJCAA All-American honors before continuing his career at the University of Alabama and later playing for the Green Bay Packers.

Muhammad, a defensive end from 2001-02, recorded a school-record 22 sacks during his All-American 2002 season before continuing his career at the University of Nebraska.

Williams, a defensive tackle from 2009-10, developed from a CCC walk-on into an All-American before transferring to the University of North Carolina. He was selected in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos and went on to become a Super Bowl champion.

“We are always honored to bring back some of the great players who are now men who have helped mold the Red Raven football program and made it what it is today,” said CCC Athletic Director Bryce Saia.

“Our Distinguished Alumni and Hall of Fame Banquet is such a meaningful celebration because it brings together the people who have invested in Coffeyville Community College with those whose lives reflect the impact of that support. We are incredibly grateful for our donors and their genuine passion for our students and their success. Vivian Frost is a perfect example of that commitment, not only as our 2026 Distinguished Alumni recipient, but as a longtime supporter and scholarship donor who continues to invest in CCC and our students. Combining these celebrations allows us to acknowledge the generosity backing our students and the remarkable accomplishments it can enable. Our Hall of Fame inductees remind us that when people believe in our students and give them opportunities to succeed, the impact can last far beyond their time at Coffeyville Community College,” said Dickie Rolls, Executive Director of the CCC Foundation.

For nearly three decades, the CCC Football Hall of Fame has recognized former players, coaches, and supporters who have contributed to the tradition of Red Raven football. Alongside the Distinguished Alumni recognition, the annual celebration honors the people who have helped shape CCC and those who carry the Red Raven legacy forward.

Their stories serve as a reminder that becoming a Red Raven is about more than the time spent on campus. It is about the opportunities created, the relationships built, and the impact that can continue for generations.

Once a Raven, Always a Raven.
