Meet the 2018-2019 Raven Soundsations

Abbigail ProchnowHello! My name is Abbigail Prochnow. I’m from Scott City High School in western Kansas. I plan to major in psychology since I want to be a therapist. When I was in high school, I was in the select mixed choir, Encore. At state contest this year, we received a I rating, as did my solo. I also received the Outstanding Musician’s Award for my participations in last year’s vocal department.  In my free time, I love to read, play video games, and play with my cat. I can’t wait to sing with you all, and I’m looking forward to this year!

Andrew HolcombMy name is Andrew Holcomb, and I attended Wesleyan Christian School (Bartlesville, Okla.) since the first grade and throughout high school. I took choir my junior year, and I was a part of the high school ensemble my last two years in high school. I’ve been in several musicals including "High School Musical" and "State Fair." At CCC, I am learning digital communications and hoping to go on to a four-year school.


Adrianna VoncannonMy name is Adrianna Voncannon, but I go by Anna. My hometown is Wichita, Kan. I attended Wichita Northwest High School. My major is social work. My past experience in choir started in seventh grade and that continued throughout high school. I've only had solos in middle school and freshman year. I've been involved in all-city, concert choir, and state groups. Some things I enjoy doing are reading, writing, a good Netflix show/movie, volunteering, and bowling. The awards I have received are from varsity bowling (team & individual), second place for DECA Community Service Project at state (Project Laundry), and various academic awards.


Jarod RoseMy name is Jarod Rose. I am from Louisburg, Kansas. I'm a former student of Louisburg High School. While attending Louisburg High School, I was a part of the LHS Select Choir for four years, the musical program for five years, and I also participated in the Louisburg Marching/Concert Band for eight years. During my years at LHS, I performed many solos for the choral and band programs. My last year attending LHS, I played the lead roll of Prince Eric in the Disney musical "The Little Mermaid."  When I'm not in the choir room singing, I'm out on the soccer field getting better each and every day.


Jessica WoodHello I'm Jessica Wood. I am from Cherryvale, Kansas, and I attended Cherryvale Middle/High School. My major that I will be studying is agribusiness. I have performed in my high school choir were I did a solo my junior year, and I also participated in the Kansas FFA State Choir two years in a row. Also, I was in CCC's production of "Disney's Beauty and the Beast." My hobby is 4-H, and I have been in this organization since I was seven-years-old. I won Miss Originality in the Neewollah's Queen Neelah pageant in 2017. I am excited to be starting this new adventure at CCC.


Larry IrwinHi. I’m Larry Irwin. Bartlesville is my hometown where I sang seven years in choir.  My senior year was spent at Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville where I received a music award and lettered in music by singing in the Select Singers.  My major is theatre, and I have participated in two musical theatre productions.


Michael JonesMy name is Michael Jones. I'm 18-years-old, and I'm from Lamar, Missouri. I'm going to college to major in digital communications. I performed in concert choir from 6th grade to 8th grade and I've been in show choir since my freshman year of high school. I've gone to districts and state in solos and ensembles competition all throughout high school. I lettered four years in football, two years in track, and one year of baseball. My hobbies include hanging out with friends, playing sports, jamming to music, running, and playing Fortnite. I'm looking forward to the upcoming year and I am excited to meet everyone on the show choir roster.


Serenity JohnsonHello, my name is Serenity Johnson. I've lived in Coffeyville, Kansas, for most of my life, but I attended and graduated from Labette County High School. I am majoring in music therapy. My love for music has opened so many doors in my life. In November 2019, I will be getting married. After I graduate from CCC, I will be furthering my education at Pitt State, and then at Kansas University.


Sheridan OyerMy name is Sheridan Oyer. My hometown is Nowata, Oklahoma, where I graduated from Nowata High School. I am majoring in criminal justice.  I started concert choir in seventh grade and eventually moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where I joined their show choir. I enjoy sleeping and watching Netflix. Currently I am on a cheer scholarship at CCC.


Stephanie FancherMy name is Stephanie Fancher. I am originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I moved to Kansas back in 2013, and graduated from Field Kindley High School. I am studying for a degree in arts and communications at Coffeyville Community College. This will be my first year in show choir, although I do have previous experiences in performing and choir. I was in Circle the State with Song in Indiana, and once I moved to Kansas, I was in several high school performances as well as the community performance of the musical "Beauty and the Beast."


Tylar DouganHello, my name is Tylar Dougan. I️ was raised in Coffeyville, Kansas, and participated in show choir at Field Kindley Memorial High School. I️ participate in theater at CCC and received the Standing Ovation Award for CCC theater's 2016/2017 season. After CCC, I️ plan to attend Pittsburg State University and get my degree in communications with an emphasis in theater.
