Meet the 2019-2020 Raven Soundsations

Joshua BeverMy name is Joshua Bever. I graduated from Sedan High School on May of 2019.  My hobbies are hanging with my family, going on movie trips and sonic runs with my friends, and cruising around in my Mustang.  My major is going to be Elementary Education.  I’m a person who really likes to travel. My most recent trip was my junior year where I went to France with my friends during the school year.  I’ve been musically talented all of my life. It started with me playing piano when I was in 2nd grade, going on to trumpet from 5th-12th grade, and then also playing trombone from 7th-11th grade. I didn’t start to sing until my last few weeks of junior year, and I continued that into my senior year. 

Alexis BunneyHello, my name is Alexis Bunney. I live in Spring Hill, Kansas, but I went to Osawatamie High School until December of 2017, then graduated from Spring Hill May of 2018.  I took a year off of school to figure out what I wanted to study. I'm still undecided. Hopefully I will be able to figure that out this year. In my free time, I go to World’s of Fun, work, draw, paint, read and listen to music.


Calleen CarrollHello! My name is Calleen Carroll. My home town is Topeka, Kansas. I attended Highland Park High School in Topeka. I've been singing in the choir from first grade to high school, but I didn't start to take it serious until middle school in 6th grade. I also used to love singing at my church while I was in middle school. My major is early childhood education and my minor is music. The only hobbies I really have is sleeping, studying, or singing.

Ravay DarrMy name is Ravay Darr. I graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka, Kansas. I performed in the concert choir for two years in high school. My hobbies are video games, poetry and singing. My major is early education. My interests include poetry, movies and creative things.


Ryann GrayHello. My name is Ryann Gray. I attended Independence High School in Independence, Kansas. I’ve been in choir since elementary school; but in middle school, I went to state. In high school, I was in Concert Choir and I joined Indy Ensemble for my junior and senior year. My major is Liberal Arts and Sciences. Some things I enjoy doing are listening to music, hanging out with friends, working on photography, and reading/writing.

Harley LaytonMy name is Harley Layton. I graduated from Sedan High School on May of 2018. My hobbies are hanging with my family and friends, going on racing trips, working on cars and watching sports. My major is going to be Music Education. When I was in sixth grade, I tried out for a solo in our concert as a joke, and got it. When everyone liked it, I decided to take choir in Junior High. I have been in choir ever since. My awards for Choir include multiple medals at the State level for Solos and Ensembles.

Madilynn PriceHello! My name is Madilynn Price and I graduated from Labette County High School. In my free time I like to watch Netflix and Hulu, listen to music, read, and spend time with my family. I am majoring in Elementary Education. Something that interests me is managing sports, I managed football and wrestling in high school and I really love it. I have always been involved somehow in music. I was in my high school auditioned choir, Choraleers, for 3 years. I was in the top auditioned ensemble, Music Company, for 1 year. I was in 'The Addams Family’ musical my Freshman year of high school. I’ve also sang in church my whole life. Music has always been a part of me and some of my best accomplishments have come from music.

Grace SlatonHi, I’m Grace Slaton! I graduated from Cherryvale Middle/Senior High School. I enjoy swimming, singing in my car or shower, performing in musicals, and meeting new people. I am majoring in Nursing to become an OB/GYN. I’ve been singing and performing ever since I was a child. My mother has stories of me humming when I ate before I could even talk. 


Bri'on WilliamsBri’on Williams is a Sapulpa High (OK) 2019 alumnus. He loves to play piano, write songs, sing, and read. As one of the minority students at Sapulpa High, Bri’on took leadership in multiple cultural awareness activities and events and plans to continue in the future.  Bri’on also auditioned and competed against 2,500 of Oklahoma’s 10-12 graders and was one of the 250 accepted into the 2019 Oklahoma All State Mixed Chorus as a high ranking Tenor 1. He has performed in multiple musicals. He has sang the national anthem at numerous basketball, football, and community events. Bri’on is a proud 10 year choir member and 4 year theatre enthusiast.
