Four Eta Gamma Chapter officers have completed Phi Theta Kappa’s Five Star Competitive Edge Program.  The Coffeyville Community College students participated in this professional development plan that equips members with valued skills such as teamwork, professional etiquette and critical thinking combined with resources like resume development, interview skills and an online portfolio that allows participants to rise above the competition for career opportunities. 

Members receiving the Five Star will qualify to attend special events during Phi Theta Kappa’s International Convention in San Antonio, Texas, April 13-19, 2015.  Members were presented with their Five Star Competitive Edge pins at the chapter’s general membership meeting on February 16.  Receiving their pins were:  Allyson Walker, Colter Comstock, Jesus Medina, and Rayanndra Gouette.
