Cristin Shepard, a member of Phi Theta Kappa’s Eta Gamma Chapter at Coffeyville Community College was awarded the Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholarship.

This scholarship program proves new Phi Theta Kappa members with financial resources to help contribute towards educational expenses while enrolled in a two-year institution. The program awards 200 scholarships nationwide.

“We could not be more proud of Cristin,” said Linda McFate, Phi Theta Kappa Advisor. “She was selected out of 1100 applicants. Our last Leader of Promise winner was Dezirae Hamrick of two years ago.”
