CCC's Smith and Porter Selected as Phi Theta Kappa's Members of the Month

The Eta Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Coffeyville Community College has named Morgan Porter and Victoria Smith as the March Outstanding Members of the Month.

Smith is a graduate of Field Kindley High School and is the daughter of Wesley and Patty Smith. She attends Coffeyville Community College on a Native American Leadership Scholarship. At Field Kindley, Smith was a member of cheer, tennis, National Honor Society, Skills USA, Key Club and the Native American organization.  At CCC, Smith serves the Eta Gamma Chapter as Co-Vice President of Fellowship. After graduation, she plans to transfer to Wichita State University to major in optometry.

Porter is also a graduate of Field Kindley High School. Her parents are Patti and Tom Porter of Coffeyville. She attends CCC on a Presidential Scholarship. At Field Kindley, Porter was a member of cheer, National Honor Society, Skills USA, Key Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. At CCC, Porter serves the Eta Gamma Chapter as Co-Vice President of Fellowship. After graduating from CCC, she plans to transfer to Pittsburg State University, where she will major in Education.
 
Both students will be attending the International Phi Theta Kappa Convention on April 5-10 in National Harbor, Maryland.
