Kenneth Dodson, treasurer of the Eta Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Coffeyville Community College, was elected Vice President of Eastern Kansas at the Kansas-Nebraska Region Convention.  The election was held at the honor society's convention March 3-5 at Wichita's Holiday Inn East.  In his leadership role, Kenneth will co-preside over business meetings at the Leadership Conference, Honors in Action Conference, the Regional Convention, and International Convention.  He will represent and maintain regular communication with the fifteen chapters in eastern Kansas.

At CCC, Kenneth is a member of the Honors Program, the Strategic Planning Committee, and is a Five Star Competative Edge Phi Theta Kappa Member.  He is also a member of the Red Raven Band and Coffeyville Municipal Band.  Kenneth has assisted with landscaping at the college and is a part-time employee of Wal-Mart.  Kenneth plans on a career in either horticulture or biochemistry.
