Student Success Center
The Student Success Center, located on the lower level of the Graham Library, serves as a central hub for student support at Coffeyville Community College. Designed to connect students with the resources they need to succeed, the center brings together advising, academic coaching, admissions, recruiting, and career services in one convenient location.
From a student’s first interaction with the college through graduation and beyond, the Student Success Center supports every step of the journey. The team also leads onboarding and orientation courses, helping new students build confidence, understand college systems, and start strong.
Whether students are exploring programs, enrolling in classes, planning their next semester, or preparing for a career, the Student Success Center provides personalized guidance to keep them on track and moving forward.
Tutoring services are primarily offered through the ACE Room (Academic Center for Excellence), an extension of the Student Success Center. The ACE Room provides individualized and group tutoring, testing support, and a flexible study environment. With quiet study areas, collaborative spaces, and sensory-friendly features such as adjustable lighting, it is designed to support a wide range of learning styles and student needs.
In addition, students have access to study skills workshops, test review sessions, computer access, and supplemental learning resources. Group study sessions can also be arranged to encourage collaboration and peer support.
Services Offered
Through the Student Success Center, the College has responded to student needs by formulating a program which includes but is not limited to:
- one-on-one tutoring
- arranging Academic Accommodations to meet students needs
- providing equipment to assist with course work
- addressing certain personal requirements
Online Tutoring
Online tutoring is also available by e-mailing questions to [email protected]. Questions submitted 8:00 a.m. Monday through 4:00 p.m. Friday will receive a response within 24 hours. Questions submitted after 4:00 p.m. Friday and before 8:00 am Monday or on school holidays will be answered within 24 hours of the center re-opening.
